Two final day Matches on Sunday wrapped up the Gambia Football Federation 2018/19 League Season with Brikama United winning the coveted foe the first time in five years.

While Brikama slugs it out with Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) at the Independence Stadium, Second place and title hopefuls Real De Banjul were also at the Box Bar for the race.

In a Scintillatig affair at the Box Bar in BRIKAMA it was Ismaila Ceesay’s Free kick near the box that earned Marimoo their lead 11th minutes after opening.

FUS Rabat new signing Pa Modou Sohna nibbed a fine assist giving Mustapha Jallow to equal the scoring 3mins before break and just as it was at the end Ebrima Joof of Marimoo was caught on handball for Ablie Bah to convert the spot kick 2-1 going into lemon time.

Second half proved effortless as indications showed that the results at the Stadium isn’t favorable to Real nor their opponents.

At the Independence Stadium, it was the epicenter of spectator turn out as favorites Brikama UTD opened their nerves with slices of touches and before GAF could realize a scrappy defense resulted to Adama MANNEH’s poking after Salifu Saho in swing cross.

Brikama kept on their nerves but GAF got off quick and recovered from an ensuing break through….One all but BRIKAMA pursued for an onslaught and caused much havoc for the Khaki boys…

At 52nd minutes GAF defender Saikou Jatta brought down EBRIMA Badjie and Momodou BOJANG converted the resulting penalty sending goal keeper Baka Jatta wayward
Brikama eventually won 2-1 and claimed supremacy at the summit on 46 points while Real De Banjul came close on 45 points and GAF on 42 points
