As relations between USA and Zimbabwe turned more acidic recently after President Donald Trump announced the extension of sanctions, the President of Zimbabwe had earlier on been alleged to have engaged Ballard’s and Partners, Private Company which consults on Economic ties, relationship, growth and development to help improve its ties with Washington
Close sources picked up by the Pan-African Visions Journalist in Harare fear most nasty reprisals owing attention to security threat. The Government source only confirmed to have gone through a tattle whisper.
‘’This is quite true because Zimbabwe is open for business. The deal is between Zimbabwe and a leading famous Private company based in USA, Washington DC. I confirm it has been engaged to fix the Zimbabwe Economy. Secondly, to make Mnangagwa gets close to Trump. However, I do not know really how much Zimbabwe pays per what period of time ‘’.
The second source from the US Embassy said Zimbabwe had engaged many partners among them some from USA,
‘’I confirm, yes received in truth but my worry is you need to investigate more. At the same time I doubt Zimbabwe’s credibility to this in terms of working out well to make the Economy move well.
‘’Remember, they have failed many a times with cheap deals what about such demanding deals?. Obviously Ballards and Partners are paid, how much I do not know, but it’s obvious’’, stealthy said the source.
Zimbabwe was given ample time to put its house in order. This was the push of Trump to make Zimbabwe look better, revive its economy after Mugabe’s failure as he said is said by many people. President Trump last week finally gave Zimbabwe more sanctions.
‘’On March 6 , by Execution order 13288 , President declared National Emergency and blocked property of certain persons . This is in line with the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. It is to deal with unusual threat to USA Foreign policies constituted by Government of Zimbabwe to undermine Democratic process ‘’
This created political violence. Rule of Law breakdown took place. Certain actions continue to pose threats to Zimbabwe. The National Emergency declared on March 6 and measures adopted on date 22 November 2005 and July 25 2008 to deal with the Emergency must continue.
‘’Therefore I continue for 1 year , the National Emergency declared in Executive Order 13288’’ , President Donald Trump quoted .
